With over 15 years in the film and media industry, Ayaan has worked across production, editing, and directing, developing a strong foundation in both the technical and creative sides of storytelling. As a revert Muslim of nine years, his personal journey inspired the creation of The American Ummah, with a mission to both amplify authentic stories and open pathways for Muslim creatives to thrive. Ayaan’s vision is to ensure that Muslims reclaim the right to tell their own stories with dignity, creativity, and truth.

Sabeen Rauf —

Executive Producer

Sabeen brings over 10 years of experience as a production coordinator and post-production producer, with a proven track record of guiding projects from start to finish. For over a decade, she has worked alongside Ayaan, sharing in his vision and strengthening it with her own leadership and determination. Grounded in her deen, Sabeen steps up wherever needed to make things happen, ensuring every project is delivered with excellence.
